CI Engineer


  • Project Management experience

  • Experience with leading & training others in lean and six sigma

  • Experience with leading Kaizen events

  • Extensive background in Lean and Six Sigma

  • Automotive experience

  • Quality background

  • Financial background in Quality or Lean Manufacturing


    • Leads teams in Breakthrough/Best-In-Class performance improvement on medium scoped projects that include cross functional areas of the business.

    • Able to "Identify/Recognize/Define" and write Statements of Work for self.

    • Impacts Operational Costs and leads a portfolio of projects that exceed the minimum economic value required.

    • Participate in project progress reviews with Master Black Belts, Champions, and other leadership levels on at least a monthly basis.

    • Provides input to management on team selection and secures team member participation.

    • Identifies barriers to project success and solicits help from champions when needed.

    • Mentors and coaches other Green Belts.

    • Prepares detailed plans to track project performance and assure timely completion and achievement of quality and savings goals.

    • Documents improvement process learning and shares best practices with other Black Belts.

    • Attends advanced training and acquires needed skills.

    • Performs all other tasks as assigned.

Additional Job Description

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or other related field.

  • Minimum two years experience in Six Sigma or related discipline.

  • Possesses competency in most statistical tools and has the ability to apply statistics to process and product improvement projects.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Lean Manufacturing/Lean Office concepts.

  • Demonstrated high level performance in current or previous positions. (High potential if current employee).

  • Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, and presentation.

  • Excellent skills in leadership, analysis, and PC applications.

  • Minimum one year manufacturing experience highly preferred.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
